Prithibir Pothey Pothey - Travel Show

Prithibir Pothey Pothey, a popular travel show on RTV Bangla, stands apart from other travel shows in that it focuses on a certain theme or elaborates on a certain architectural wonder and its historic significance in each episode.The show is hosted by Filmmaker Shakur Majid.

Shakur Majid has travelled to countries in Europe, different states of US, UAE, Chile in Latin America, Malaysia, Scotland, Thailand, China, among others. During these trips, Majid has filmed the locales that fascinate tourists all over the world. These videos are featured in Prithibir Pothey Pothey. . So far 43 episodes have been aired.

The new episodes of the programme will focus on China and its historically important places, such as the Great Wall of China, the Ming Tombs, Tiananmen Square and the Chinese Opera.The episodes will also focus on Chinese cities including the capital Beijing, Shanghai, Neijiang, and Kunming City.
